New application software launched in EMPLOYEES' PROVIDENT FUND ORGANISATION (EPFO)


The new application software for EPFO was launched at Sub Regional Office Karnal today.

The software has been developed by National Informatics Center (NIC) in consultation with a team of officers from EPFO Project Team. The new software automates the service area of EPFO. With its launch, EPF members will experience speedy claim settlement, timely issue of annual accounts and disbursement of pension to pensioners. The software will also facilitate easy detection of default. Annual returns received through a soft copy can be uploaded directly cutting lot of duplicility and inconvenience to Employers.

K. Chandramouli , Central Provident Fund Commissioner launched the software. First claim was settled and a cheque was issued in favour of an EPF member Mrs Urmila.

The function was attended by S. R. Joshi, Additional Central Provident Fund Commissioner (Haryana & Rajasthan), B. K. Panda, Additional Central Provident Fund Commissioner (Information Services), K.L. Taneja Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I (Faridabad), and S.S. Bawalia Regional Provident Fund Commissioner (Karnal).

The Head office team consisted of P.U. Kulkarni, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I (Pension), Sanjay Kesri Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-II (National Data Center), S.K. Suman and Uttam Prakash, Regional Provident Fund Commissioners-II (Project) and Dinesh Dharni (Assistant Director, Information Services).

B. Vinaya Senior Technical Director, and R. K. Mishra Tecnical Director of NIC were also present at the Occasion.
