Cooking of Mutton Briyani with Coconut Milk


Mutton Briyani is the famous south indian food. Here i described the cooking of Mutton Briyani along with Coconut Milk & a cup of curd.

Briyani rice½ Kg
Coconut Milk 1 Cup
Curd 1 Cup
Briyani Masala Powder2 Table spoon
Garam Masala Powder 1 Table spoon
Chilly Powder 1 Table spoon
Garlic & Ginger (paste)2 Table spoon
Mint leaves (paste) 5 Table spoon
Small onion (paste) 5 Table spoon
Turmeric Powder½ Table spoon
Big onion½ Cup (Chopped Pieces)
Tomato 5 Tomatoes
Curly leaves As per our requirement
Mustard As per our requirement
Oil As per our requirement
SaltAs per our requirement
Ratio: 1 Cup of rice: 2 Cup of Coconut Milk.

How to Prepare:

Curd with Mutton Mix: Take Mutton pieces in the bowel and then add curd, garlic and ginger paste and turmeric powder. Mix very well and kept it for 30 minutes.
   
Preparation of Rice: Take another bowel & wash the rice with water and add 2 cups of water along with the rice and kept it for 15 or 30 minutes.

Cooking Procedure:

Pour oil in the cooker and make deep fry with mustard, curry leaves, chopped onions added.
And add mint leaves paste and onion paste along with this and cook for 5 minutes.

Add Chopped Tomatoes, 2 Chillies or Chilly Powder, Garam Masala, Briyani Masala Power. Mix well and make fry for 5 minutes.

Add Coconut milk, Curd Mutton Mix & Filtered rice and salt.

Close the cooker lid and cook till 3 whistle.

Then Serve it hot along with Curd & Onion Mix.
